Pitino has evolved his style over the years, not all about gunning 3s and pressing. They play good, hard sound defense which is something I would love for us to do. Scoring droughts may happen but D keeps you in the game during those times.

St. John’s is literally playing the exact opposite of what CBK is right now. They don’t shoot 3s, and they don’t play fast. They grind games out, shoot midrange jumpers, and play good defense

St Johns' defense is so fun to watch. I hope Rick retires soon so Pope can get him around our program and get some pointers. It's been weird watching St Johns games this season and rooting for Pitino to win lol.
The way StJohn ‘s plays they would run us out of gym even on full roaster. St Johns baring injuries they should be top 10 team and 2 our 3 seed in the NCAA tournament.
It’s very funny to me that if you went back in time a decade this would be said if Pitino lost.
