St Johns-UConn

[R.O.T.Muckinfush]

Good game... St. Johns is solid on defense.

[TTTblue24]

Pitino has evolved his style over the years, not all about gunning 3s and pressing. They play good, hard sound defense which is something I would love for us to do. Scoring droughts may happen but D keeps you in the game during those times.

Love seeing that menstruating wimp Hurley losing at home. Doesn't matter to me who beats him. He is due for a fall from grace!

[IowaMuse5]

Pitino and Bobby Knight. In my 50
Years on this planet, these 2 are still the greatest coaches I’ve seen.

[Dreklie]

Uconn couldn't miss for a while, St Johns with a strong *** (lmao) comeback to take the lead at halftime.

[ukcatz12]

Hurley about to show Pitino why he has two titles in two year while it took Pitino almost 20 to get his second. No way St. John's holds on here.

[BlueWorldOrder74]

There is absolutely no way on Gods green earth that St John’s can hold off UCONN and win this game. It’s impossibly. Can’t be done. No way at all.

[rick64]

Johnny's weathered the early flurry from UCONN. Came back from 14 down to take the half time lead.

[Panthur]

I wonder what kind of enthusiasm St. John’s fans and boosters have.

If Rick starts looking like he can win them a title with the right roster, I hope they’ll pay for the key pieces.

[R.O.T.Muckinfush]

Pope's boys need to watch these guys play defense. Go hard with hands up every play trying to interfere with shots and passes.

[The_Answer1313_rivals]

The defense is unrelentless for St Johns.

The defense is unrelentless for St Johns.

Wish we could play D like that. Whew. They don’t stop.

[TTTblue24]

St. John’s is putting on a defensive clinic, active hands and challenging passes and cuts. They’re playing with intensity and fire, like they want to play defense vs being made to.

[IYAOYAS1]

Rick is thriving and I’m so happy for him.

That’s all I want for Christmas. Haha. Seriously, just give it all every time on defense. If u lose, you lose, but play your tail off. Also, no way St Johns can win. Ha!

[The_Answer1313_rivals]

It's amazing to watch an entire team be able to keep their man in front of them the entire shot clock.

[TucsonCat]

I've never heard a more dead arena.
There 3 minutes left and it sounds like an empty church.
Its depressing

[DaDirtyLeb69]

UConn home games are starting to become like Kansas home games. They get down, they make some fugazi comeback and it comes down to the final possession

[The_Answer1313_rivals]

Argh make free throws lol

[DaDirtyLeb69]

Does Dan Hurley ever not complain. Every time they show him, he is complaining or being a smartass about a call

[DaDirtyLeb69]

Luis jr for St. John’s is a baller

[blackcat714]

Dagger

[blackcat714]

Slick Rick is amazing

[The_Answer1313_rivals]

McNeeley LOLOLOL

[gbl97]

Let's go Piturncoat

[The_Answer1313_rivals]

St Johns shooting 29% from 3 on the season.........340th. Still winning games lol.

[BlueWorldOrder74]

Never

[DaDirtyLeb69]

St. John’s is literally playing the exact opposite of what CBK is right now. They don’t shoot 3s, and they don’t play fast. They grind games out, shoot midrange jumpers, and play good defense

[chattanoogawildcat]

The prick goes down, again!

they will shoot 60% if they play with us

[Coach Marrow]

St John’s is a good fit for Rick

[Dreklie]

Pitino still got it

[blackcat714]

they will shoot 60% if they play with us

I hate to see what we would shoot against that defense

Lol sounds familiar.

[ukwildcatwildfan]

St Johns' defense is so fun to watch. I hope Rick retires soon so Pope can get him around our program and get some pointers. It's been weird watching St Johns games this season and rooting for Pitino to win lol.

[AJG-15]

The way StJohn ‘s plays they would run us out of gym even on full roaster. St Johns baring injuries they should be top 10 team and 2 our 3 seed in the NCAA tournament.

[westerncat]

Rick can still coach !

[ukcatz12]

The prick goes down, again!

It’s very funny to me that if you went back in time a decade this would be said if Pitino lost.

[DaDirtyLeb69]

Lol sounds familiar.

Their coach in this scenario can actually scheme stuff up
