Also of note:

There is an iPhone app (oxblue) and there is a mobile site for Android and Blackberry users at m.oxblue.com/. In both the app and the mobile website, plug in harrellcontracting/msudaviswade to find our cam.

Is the crane sinking?

EDIT: nvm. the way the top part was facing covered the back of the tracks and made it look like it was sinking. optical illusion.

I was

about to say, you've got some super vision if you could see that. I just read your subject and then looked at the pics and was like "wtf?"

All the utilities were supposed to be moved... Seems they forgot about/missed that one! Pretty common in this type of construction. A good water man can never truly retire(because no one else knows where the lines put down 20+ years ago are located)

Hopefully it is temporarily down... Surely Stricklin wouldn't have tweeted it if it wasn't going to be a public link...

no idea...

I notice we don't get full access like we did before. Guessing this was a compromise that was reached, so we can't rewind and see mistakes like we did before(cut water line, etc).

ETA: Link takes you to same picture every time. To get a more recent picture, you must update the picture # in the URL. It is on #135. #136 shows progress from 12:30 today. No idea how often it will update in this format...

I think you're right because the original link in this post requires you to sign in. Stricklin's new link just shows the one picture.

But I can't imagine why a cut water line would be a big deal and make the company look bad. It happens all the time. Maybe we have a hypersensitive contractor ....

They probably just do not want to be under scrutiny by thousands of prying eyes watching their every move in 30 minute intervals... Can't blame them for that. You know some fool would be on there watching intently for OSHA violations, etc to turn them in on at a minute's notice. Would just be more trouble than it's worth.

I'm just glad we reached the compromise that we apparently have...

Has anyone looked lately, it appears the ugly metal bleachers are 90% gone. Good riddance cold on the rump metal bleachers.

almost impossible not to hit something like that as old as the site is .... at least it wasn't a fiber optic cable like we hit @ a site on Ga. Tech campus - that's a little bit of a problem then

actually that's part of the reason for site cams ... GC likes to be able to see who's tearing up what as well as many other better reasons

yes its in engie's post, #21. You have to update the number at the very end of it. Keep inputting a bigger number until you get to what is basically current time.

Engie, Should we start a prediction thread for the completion of the structure? ie predict the day where the actual structure is up?

Also, what are they going to do when the new structure is blocking out the view?

The camera is attached to a high point on the upper deck...the view should not be impeded in any way from that angle.

These types of construction projects are hard to predict like that or even say "it's finished structurally"... due to their vast nature. I'd imagine that they are ahead of schedule right now...

Aren't they supposed to have the lower bleacher seats finished in time for next season for the students? DWS will look totally different by opening day.

Yes. I'm under the impression that the "lower" bowl will definitely be complete. How far beyond that is up for question.

Scott repeatedly has said that "we won't lose much capacity if any" meaning this part is done IMO.
