Correct me if I'm wrong, but all we know for sure is that one of the starting WRs is out. All of those guys listed as questionable could play. If that's true, people seem to be relying too much on the possibility of a depleted VT offense. But that may not be the case.

With how Monangai has played and how Benjamin looks, where does Sam Brown figure into the backfield as he works his way back in? Does he take over as lead back at any point this year?

Also, a lot of faith in our offense here. If VT plays good defense we're not going to be able to put up too many points. Our offense is competent but it's not electric.

As soon as Sam Brown is fully healthy, I think he's lead back, but still expect a running back by committee regardless.

They’re awful on O even WITH those guys. Think “us” in the recent past lol!

I don't see VT scoring more than 10 points.

I actually think their back up quarterback transfer from Baylor actually looked pretty good in his one drive against Purdue. I"m a bit concerned that he could be a player with not much tape out there that could surprise Rutgers. Not saying I think RU loses.... I just think that QB looks like he could be functional.

Well that was certainly a roller coaster ride of emotions. Euphoria followed by concern and worry ending in jubilation.
