Don't you think you would make sure you had the damn story 100% correct before you made an allegation like that.

I don't see him getting a warm welcome next year when our teams meet.

and now holds the title as most hated SEC coach for me. 17 that bald crooked tooth lying *******!! His international semi-pro team will choke in the NCAA like always. Seriously though just off the top of my head he's got Swedish Taylor, African Feces, African backup Tcheingang(sp). He's had other Australian kids that were good too, wtf is up with his world wide recruiting?

our coach. I am not really a huge fan of Stans, but it is amazing to watch the sharks circle when they smell blood.

Yes, this season was simply unacceptable. But really, we can't even give our own coach the benefit of the doubt for what, half a day?

Above all things, despite what you think of his coaching ability, Rick and his family are good people, and the thought that he would've said something like that is ridiculous. It was pathetic to see people assume the worst.

...piling on Stallings here?

First of all, he was upset because of something one of the playerssaid he heard from Statecoaches. Hegot angry about it. In the heat of the situation, that's what coaches do. Had the situation flipped and Augustus said the same thing to Stans, Stans would've reacted the same way. If you don't think he would've, you're fooling yourselves.

My only beef with Stallings is talking about it on the radio show. But we should still give Stallings some credit for getting the full story and then publicly apologizing. A lot of coaches wouldn't have done that.

To me, this is much ado about nothing.

Stans may have said it or implied it. Maybe he didn't. All the articles I've read imply that Stallings got the full story from State. Of course Stans is going to deny he said it even if he did. So who knows...<div>
</div><div>Slive doesn't like for stuff like that to put a black eye on his SEC so I'm sure he was behind the recant was all I was trying to say.

That's why everyone has a problem. He went to media without making sure he had the full story. Anytime you make an allegation against someone purposely trying to injure someone, you better make sure you have all your ducks in a row before you go spouting off accusing them of doing that. He should have sat the player down and make 100 percent sure he had the full story before he mentioned this.

I think the criticism is fair. Don't go accusing people of something like that before you know damn sure it's true.

....that some of the criticism is fair. I just think that most coaches would've either a) come out with with some "I stand by what my players told me" statement, or b) would've just let it die down because their egos are too big to admit they made a mistake. In his case, he admitted he was wrong and he apologized. I think he deserves credit for that.

It's called common sense.<div>
</div><div>We played Vandy at home this year. You play each team from the East one (1) time every year in the regular season. Games alternate location each year.We played Vandy at home this year. Now if we played Vandy at home this year...hmmm....where would we play next year? This is a big time head scratcher.....</div>
