I didn't see anything on that video that really offended or dissapointed me though. Of course it's not good, but it's not like he was raping puppies and practicing black magic.

I have read a lot of comments about the video this AM and you are the first one that has said he looked hammered. Most said the opposite.

Oh my lord I can't stop laughing.........Kennedy is a whiny baby. Just BEGGING to be let go. "This is going to be an international incident!" "Sir PLEASE let me talk to you." HAHAHAAHAHHHAHHAHHAHAHAHHAAHHAHAHHAHAHHAAHHAHAHAHAHAHA

My favorite line is from the cop in the front seat of the cruiser. I won't even post it. You have to watch it to appreciate it.

Kennedy: "Sir, this will be a national altercation."
Cop: "You don't think we've been involved in national incidents before? We deal with the Bengals all the time."

"I'm begging you. I'm looking at you. Please look at me. This is … this is a major deal man," pleaded Kennedy.

"I understand sir, but if I don't do this, I could lose my job," said the officer.

"It's not worth it. Please trust me. Please trust me on this. This is going to be a national incident sir," continued Kennedy.

"Sir, everything you're saying right now is being recorded," replied the officer.

"No, I understand that," said Kennedy.

"You think we've never arrested somebody that's made national media? … We deal with the Bengals all the time," said the officer.

the fix really is in. Rehab, counseling, community service, fine, and suspension at the least. Especially the other guy who was belligerent to the cabbie, he should be fired. However, I don't see anything being done.

I know what is trying to say but the way it sounds, he is making it sound like Bosnia or something.

1 - William Armstrong is a dubmass for getting arrested.

2 - Classic moment when the cop said "We deal with the Bengals all the time..."

AK was one begging mofo that night.

I've seen many of my friends go down in flames much worse than that. Of course, they are not SEC basketball coaches.

And I'd try every damn trick I could as well.

my main problem with all of this is that he was out the night before a game.

I think AK,William Armstrong and the cab driver are all lying.

I think the cab driver said something smart to them and AK punched him in the face. He got smart, but I seriously doubt he singled out the black guys by calling them the n-word. Armstrong's lying. AK was sitting in the front seat. More than likely, his comments were directed at AK.

If the cab driver called the black coaches the n-word, why weren't any of them arrested? They all seemed to be calm as pie. Not part of the incident at all. I think black men don't need white guys to defend them in situations like that. Trust me, most black guys can take care of that themselves. William Armstrong is lying on that accusation.

AK was allegedly physically led out of a bar and is accused of hitting a cab driver in the early hours of the morning. He said that it is going to be an "international incident." The cop had to tell him several times to shut his mouth and face forward. The policeman in the car told him that it was being recorded, as to say shut your drunk mouth.

Have you ever been in a situation where you are really drunk, but then you have to speak to a policeman? I can assure you that it'll sober you up. However, you still don't make any sense when you try to talk to them and everybody knows that you are smashed. AK falls into that category. He knew his *** was in trouble.

I have to play Louisville and Rick Patino at 9:00 pm.

When he came out for the game in Cincinnati "How was jail? Did you meet any Bengals?"
The Louisville fans around me thought it was funny.
Everyone else...not so much.

That is an issue being buried under the soap opera that surrounds this whole situation. I know it goes on all the time, but married coaches going out huntin' for some co-ed loving on the road is a public relations nightmare. Or at least it should be. I love how just when things seem to be simmering down on the story, something else pops up to bring it back to the front page of sports websites.

It is too damn bad that this didn't come out last week.

Our zone offense was everything his worst critics have ever said it was and much worse.

I believe the exact words were "international altercation". That's proof he was hammered right there.

I really hope they get stuck with this idiot for a long time. But even Pete Boone isn't that stupid.

Like I said in another post, I really hope you guys hang on to this clown.

That DVD will be standard viewing for every Ole Miss recruit as long as he's there.

The mention of the racial slurs should go over real well on the AAU circuit.

Looked like world-beaters early, then stood around and played like **** for the last 30 minutes of the game. Difference was, Georgia's bad enough we could get away with it and win anyway. I think we've got to ditch the 4-guard lineup as our full-time lineup. Use it 20 minutes per game (and by 20/game I mean 30 in some games and 10 in others depending on matchups) but don't use it all the time. At one point, we were outrebounded 20-9 in the second half by the 2nd worst rebounding team in the conference.

a big man's outside shooting abilities, the 4 man line up becomes a huge liability. Once Cranston hit that three that hit every part of the rim and backboard, we were done.

We could also just switch Varnado/Turner and let Turner guard the guy who is dangerous outside, which I think we eventually did, for a little while. But I get what you're saying. Also, if we're gonna play a 4 guard lineup, we HAVE to push the tempo. They were able to control temp way too much sat, especially in the 2nd half.

if the other big can't shoot. But you always risk Cranston just backing Turner down low..but I guess you risk that anyway with the 4 guard line up.

But we definitely don't seem to be getting the ball out of the net and going like we did against Ark.

....you really hit on it. If you are going to play four guards, that tempo has to be pushed and you need to pressing most possessions. Our tempo is up some, but we basically need to be playing 40 minutes of hell with that lineup. That way you are maximizing your quickness. We are basically giving away any advantage we have by playing half court basketball. If you want to play half court basketball, you have to be able to defend, rebound, and score from the post offensively.

This is bad coaching. Stansbury needs to basically go one way or the other.

I'm not defending Kennedy and whatever he did, but how is it okay for a cop to pull the cab over, walk up to the car and open the door, tell him to get out and face the car, then threaten him before he can even do anything ("One move and get lit")? This may be the libertarian in me shining through, but the behavior of the police is inexcusable.

and act like he's checking Ms. Daisy's licence on a lazy Sunday afternoon. The cops did everything right. In this day and age their first priority is to protect themselves as well it should be. He gave all the proper verbal warnings and AK was still not following orders. If I pulling over a drunk assaulter then, your damn right I'm not giving him an inch.
