Plus 2 Tourney Championships. Got togive him credit for that. That is 9th All-time for SEC coaches. I remember the days we laid eggs in this tourney (1996 being an exception). Here's to making it 16 today.

Post on GenesPage said 15 and 9. Do you think your numbers are right?

No doubt about it. We typically show up to play (knock on wood).

Unfortunately, that never carries over to the NCAAT - which, in my opinion, is many many more times important that SEC performance.

Maybe one of these days...

If this is his 12th tourney and he didn't lose in 2, hasn't lost in this one yet, then how does he have 11 losses?

Sounds like a lot of people are getting their stats wrong these days, Veazey, the SEC, the anti Stans crew. Maybe I'll make up some bogus stat as well. In fact, I'll get right on that research about other coaches records vs the top 25. Shouldn't take me but a couple minutes

I know the 15 victories is correct, but I took 11 tournaments and counted 11 losses. However, I forgot that with 2 tournament championships, we didn't have a loss. So it is either 15-8 or 15-9. Even better than I thought.

lost our first game in '03 (i think...Roberts' Sr year), and earned us a 2 seed instead of a 1. Had we at least won 1 or 2 games that year, we would not have run into the buzzsaw that was Xavier.

You do realize Stans' teams WON 2 SEC Tournaments Championships. Did those games count? <div>
</div><div>I understand what you're saying about that year, but geez...We've been pretty good under Stans in the SECT. </div>

when it comes to sensibility regarding basketball. That's why I have stayed out of most of the pissing matches on here. Some folks have just lost all touch with objectivity.
