Any team who halfway cares about the school or program plays hard in those "visible" games (like Kentucky and TSUN). It's the "easy wins" against the Florida Atlantics and Auburns on the schedule that are hard for good teams to get up for. John Wooden used to say that the National Championship games and rivalry games were the easiest to get his teams ready for and prepared for because they were motivated. The easy wins are the hard ones because complacency plagues most everyone. On top of that, we are probably a highlighted game on a lot of those team's schedules because playing any school with a name is a big game, so they will more than likely be motivated.
