I saw one mock draft about a week ago where he was projected to go in the 5th round.
Biggest "recruit" of the off-season, IMO. Huge!

What's the cutoff for games missed then? Isn't Cooper Dejean out for the rest of the season after they played us? He was first team.
I am not saying there is any cut off. But We do not earn enough respect to get a player that did not play in 4 B10 games on the all conference team.
He missed the IOWA, PSU and MD games he played in all the rest.
Treyvon Henderson, 1st team all B1G missed 3 entire games and still made 1st team. DeJean was 1st team AND DB of the year and he missed 2 games.
Get over your love fest with Powell. If he was ALL that, then he would be NFL bound and made some B1G teams.
Powell was the best player on our defense. He's an NFL player.
Dejean got hurt with 1 game left on Iowa's schedule. He was pre-season all BIG Ten. How is this at all comparable to Powell? It is odd how some so-called Rutgers fans bend and twist narratives to hurt Rutgers players. Like why?
I never said anything about all B10. Someone else asked. He was OUR best LB when he went down and we missed him badly. He also missed our OSU game...so Iowa, PSU, MD, OSU=4 not 3.
DaJean deserved 1st team and Powell at the very least should be on 2nd / 3rd . We will have a tough time changing some bias and admittedly some other talented players in the B1G . Powell has a great chance to play in the NFL.
Missing the games was going to hurt his draft stock. He also potentially could earn more money in college now than he might have gotten trying to go pro.
You're right. He was injured in practice - so he missed Illinois and Nebraska. But the overall point remains.
Didn't Powell get hurt when an Indiana offensive lineman threw him the ground ---no holding penalty, of course.
