The building is still there but the name has changed. Worst damn Mexican food in history but it was pretty cool hangout for a while when they added the patio and started having bands. I think Jeffrey Rupp had something to do with that place.

to get something to eat after the game. Me and about 5 other girls go over to talk to him. Somehow, I was ignored.

Also, Monday Night Football was awesome there too.
I pictured you as a big ole' boy...kinda like the Ying to HD6's Yang, only you're both big, white guys.

I kind of phrased it wrong. I went to go talk to him in my drunken stupor after the Egg Bowl after my friends were like "Oh ****, Herbstreit is over there. Someone act a fool and go talk to him" and from my walk over there, 5 other girls coming from every direction beat me to it. I knew then my 10 second conversation was over.

for 2 restaurants. I know the area, and we're already looking at several options, but if you have any ideas, let me hear them. You can PM me if you'd rather not post it publicly.

1. Trust me -- you want these restaurants in Starkville, so serious ideas are appreciated.

2. Dawgstudent -- If someone comes up with a site we choose, we can talk later about your commission. Would this be the first Officially Unofficial Sixpack Real Estate transaction?

Used to be a tradition for the IE group(don't know if it still is). 00-03 I spent a lot of nights there. Don't ever go there now, it's just not the same. And I live in Starkville

Best locale in Starkville.

Im not going to the new one simply out of spite. That now puts me at boycotting the Veranda, OVPC, and the Grill.

in reality, its nothing they've done ("Its not you, its me"). I just don't like the vibe. Probably due to the fact I like to pretend Im in college about 6-7 times a year so I like to be downtown or in the Cotton District.

Im serious. Tell those fools they are losing tens of dollars a year with this move from me!!

OVPC made the list b/c that guy is so cheap that there would be 30 people trying to get a drink and he would never have more than 2 bartenders or add a beer bar. I realized he was never going to add that if we were dumb enough to keep standing in line. I still think he was costing himself a ton of money.

YOu can get quick service and just as good cheese sticks at mugshots. 2 birds, one stone.

But here's hoping somebody takes over the old grill building and brings it back old school.

....it would be a great location for Flo 'n Eddie's II: Cheese Stick Boogaloo.

I think if this happened it would make a killing. Think about how many people drive over there to eat. This being said it is probably wishful thinking.

I spent more at the grill than I did on tuition and books.I literally had a reserved seat at the bar. It was my Cheers. When I walked in Kevin behind the bar was making my drink. Back when I was there they had a happy "hour" from 3-6.

Talking about this **** depresses me.

Please, some motherfugger hurry up and invent time travel.

I always thought would make a good location for restaurant/bar. Its walking distance to campus and cotton district, and can easily be accessed by the other parts of town. On the Night Route loop also.....

we will discuss one day over lunch. I think the best site would be to tear down the old Burger King, obtain some parking from the University Inn and put it there. That is a prime spot!!!

Depends on what you're looking for and how much your client is willing to spend. Forget about what that guy said about the corner of Russell and Spring - that can't be bought at a reasonable price for that location. Are we talking fast food, or a sit down and stay a while restaurant? If you can give me a price/SF they are willing to spend, I can narrow your options quickly.

I think the obvious location is on the new highway 12 between campus and 82. Somewhere across from or adjacent to the Hilton.

Like you said... the old BK or theatre site is logical. But it's taken.... supposedly.

It's not every day you see the recipe posted for the greatest delicacy not seen since the night before Kevin Fant beat Eli.
