You have to do something to show you are trying to make things better. They are better offensive players than Nwoko and Melendez. You have to have offense. Not changing anything is showing that Jans can’t/wont adjust.

Nwoko is not bad offensively. He was our whole offense for the first 4 minutes of the UGA game. Melendez though. I love his defense but he is a big minus on offense.

Start some of the young guys. At least they can get some experience for next year. This team is a repeat of the last few teams. A one and done crew. Unless they continue this collapse

I wouldn't necessarily be against it. They already come in pretty quickly anyway, and Murphy has played as well as anyone lately. Not sure Kugel gives us much more offense than Melendez though.

Hubbard, Harris, Melendez, Murphy and Cam are the best 5. Kugel has a role, Nwoko has a role, Jones has a role. Every player on the court for us has pros and cons... Naming a starting 5 doesn't fix the problems we have.

I wouldn't change a thing when it comes to Murphy. He seems to have embraced this role, so why mess with what we're getting from him.

Going to be another portal crapshoot for next year but we’ve shown again, offense is much, much needed and what wins games.
Scoring in the 60’s and low 70’s ain’t winning many basketball games these days.
Have to get a true PG, two more good and dependable backcourt players and a really good big man about 6-10 that is athletic and can defend is needed. Long and athletic PF’s - 2 of those would be great additions as well.

I am probably a bad Mississippi State fan this basketball season, but I am not closely following the team as everybody else is. I follow whether we win or lose, but I somewhat drop it all after that. I'm guessing this past football season is the culprit, but I don't have much emotionally invested in our sports program anymore, whatever season it is.

Each time I see someone say Nwoko isn't effective or is a bad player or whatever, I wonder which one of us is watching MSU play and which is watching replays of Miami games from last season.

Yes he obviously has room to grow. He needs to be more consistent on D and rebounding, for example.
But he is a valuable player and I hope he stays for the coming seasons. He has game and contributes.
