Until they declare, the starting lineup will be;

T. Jones
C. Reddish
RJ. Barrett
Z. Williamson
V. Carrey

Bench

Goldwire
AOC
Baker
Moore
White
Bolden
Robinson
Coach K’s Nephew or whatever
Buckmire

Redshirt

Boogie Ellis

No Hurt or Watford.

If we don’t win it all with that team, then we may never win it again.

Haha this is good[/QUOTE)
Wishful thinking but hey Jones doesn’t need the money and neither does Barrett (don’t know for fact). I would assume nothing will change with Zion of he leaves this year versus next. He will still go number 1. Maybe Reddish is the only one who leaves unless he wants to return with the rest of the guys. This would be one of the biggest shockers of all.

Eventually they all show themselves. This is Why you respect the rival posters that literally do just want to chop it up like Dadika.

It’d be nice if that door swung both ways but it’s simply not possible to talk anything over there.

What I would love to see:

Jones
AOC
Moore
Carey
Bolden

Hurt and Javin in the frontcourt rotation. Whoever steps up in the backcourt rotation. Experience in the starting lineup with scoring off the bench. Maybe go 10 deep.

What I expect to see:

Jones
Moore
Hurt
Carey
Bolden/Javin

The starting lineup that gets the 5 best on the floor. An 8-man rotation but no telling who gets too deep on the bench.

If RJ decides to reclass and play with Tre:

Tre
RJ
Moore
Hurt
Carey

Starters playing 35 mpg each.

I think K will go with the best 5 most of the time. Which will mean:
1. Tre
2. Ellis / Baker
3. O'Connell / Javin (4 - Moore to 3) / Bolden (5 - Carey moves to 4)
4. Moore
5. Carey

I think Ellis will be one of the better outside shooters and be able to drive and score with his quickness. And, his defensive quickness will be an asset over O'Connell. There may be an occasion when O'Connell or Baker (if he starts to get hot shooting at some point) starts over Ellis if the latter slumps.

Even if Hurt comes to Duke, I don't see him starting much. He would have to be very good from 3. I see him as a 3-4 year player (I just don't think he's soon to be NBA material) and could become really good if he learns to shoot the 3 consistently at the college level.

Got a question if any of you know. Of the three that have committed to Duke next year Ellis, Moore and Carey are any of them good free throw shooters. By that I mean 80 per cent guys. It would be nice to have 5 or 6 regulars that can do that. OFC

Question: Who will be the first one to bash K next year when we get eliminated from the Sweet 16 again. This is the same ish from last year. How dominate this team would be and blazzy blah. We get eliminated and the board is trashing K on coaching. GTFOH!!!!

interesting - you look at the 2 teams playing tonight...TTech goes 8 deep with double digit minutes....UVA 7.5 ( Huff is at 9.5 min per game)...so I think if we go 8 deep we will be good...9 may be a bit excessive and 10 unrealistic...so the over under changes to 8...( still taking the under)

Yea I'm excited Tre is coming back, but I'm not getting my expectations up. The season is definitely trending up, but lets get these freshmen on campus and see how they translate to college basketball. Everyone thought Cam was gonna light it up and his season was kinda subpar for the hype and ranking he had. I hope like heck that these guys have the chemistry that this years team had and NO injuries.

If Hurt comes he's starting. K's not prioritizing him to the extent that he has to come off the bench. He'll be expected to be one of our primary scorers.
