But for the first time ever as an MSU fan, I actually feel comfortable that we can compete and win with not only our starting QB, but our backup as well.
and then bring in Tyler Russell only because of the fact that Tyler is a redshirt freshman and we need to try to protect him a little bit at this time. Let Relf start and let Tyler kind of see what is going on and kind of ease him into the game a little bit like we did Sat.
I would definately use him some to get him some experience and also to see what he can do and see if he can build on his previous outing.
Tyler played great and will be in the game but he is still a Freshman and he has only played against Memphis. Let's put a more experience Relf in and let him settle things down and then as soon as they adjust to him switch it up.
He outplayed Relf, imo. That int Relf threw really looked bad and reminded me of his int against AU last year. I like how Relf bounced back, but Russell just looked a lot more composed.
Relf...and like Thunderclap said- we will open the playbook up Thursday. We hardly ran anything Saturday at Memphis and put up 49. They are beyond ******.
