Maybe 4 and 5 star players aren’t really that good I think I will leave the recruiting to Stoops and Vince Marrow
It's not that serious. We'll get who we get and it'll be players we want who fit our system. If we poach some 5 or 4* players from the perennial powerhouses who seem to do well with them... For some reason... Then great.

Mmmm. Trevin Wallace and 23 other Wildcats say, hello!!

This season’s results will likely bear the best fruit for the 2023 class, just as 2018’s record helped lead to the big bump in the class of ‘20.

It is early for the 2023 Class, but we have two commits, and many of that year’s ultimate haul hasn’t even likely been listed, here, yet.

Sometimes a player shows up and doesn’t play up to their potential and others who are lower ranked plays at a higher level example Oxidine (spelling) was a 3 star yes there are others we all know about recruiting services can’t see all the players out there and why is it kickers/punters are never evaluated by the big services

Ox was rated a 5.8 4 star by Rivals and the 30th best DT in his class. Him being good is hardly a shocker.
Rankings are estimations. They are sometimes wrong, they are sometimes right. No idea how anyone could look at them and take them as gospel. Most of those top kids will pan out, but there's genuinely no way to predict who will or won't, and there's also no way evaluators can see every kid in the country.

Stoops has shown an ability to not only evaluate talent but forecast it down the road, and that's where UK is doing great things.

Big news as Dave Lackford put in picks for Kentucky today on Henderson County DE Saadiq Clements and South Warren ATH Cristian Conyer. Conyer is a 4* Rivals 250 prospect and Clements is a 5.7 three star. I'm particularly excited about Clements as his film is markedly improved from last year. He doesn't get much pub IMO due to where he plays, but he is now my #1 ranked prospect in Kentucky for 2023. I seriously think he has high four star potential if he hits the camp circuit next spring and summer and increases his exposure.

He has visited bama so his stars will go up really like his potential (Clements) hopefully we can keep him
