Yes, but generally it will be Collins in north Florida and Stoops in south Florida.
When it comes to the Coen and White, do they have regions or do they recruit players, regardless of location? Coen appears to be mainly involved with every QB.

Generally coaches, at least at Kentucky are responsible for recruiting a region. However, in certain cases, they may recruit a specific player that may not be in their assigned region.

It certainly seems that Coen is responsible for recruiting a position, regardless of region. It was interesting listening to an interview he gave wherein he admitted that he was saying “no” to a bunch of QBs, but then had to remember they were in high school.

I think it starts out with regions, then as players start taking their visits they may make a connection to a particular coach, may or may not be his position coach but one who he just clicks with. And that coach may become the head recruiter. At UGA Sam Pittman recruited the OL when he was there, as far as I know he didn't recruit an area. Now our TE coach recruits TEs, not much else as main recruiter but does secondary recruit Florida. I think that is a model just about everyone uses.

It's definitely more common with an OC/QB coach.

Should be pointed out that UK RB coach John Settle recruits only RBs and as far as I know really has no region he recruits.

LC needs to remember that some of these kids he’s saying “NO” to might just blow up and be possible takes in transfer portal.

Even more likely is he will be looking at these kids as a Head Coach somewhere else in a few years!

I think his “no” was an internal “no” and was initially created because he was accustomed to working the NFL QBs.

4* Anthony Brown, WR, Springfield OH has decommitted from Minnesota. Marrow was recruiting him for UK, may be someone to follow.
Idk the connection but Minnesota was gotten some nice prospects out of that area the last few years. One they flipped from UK

If we swing & miss on all HS top prospects then let's move on to getting a former 4 star at a power program who isn't moving up the depth chart after Spring the way they want. Come to UK as 2022 #2, learn the system/play in spot duty & mopup, then launch off as 2023 starter throwing to a more experienced but highly elite batch of wide recievers.

Ohio St, Georgia, Bama, Clemson...rosters with guys unhappy being behind starters who have multiple yrs left before leaving

Ain't no reason this program to settle for 3 star talent at QB anymore, thats not progress its z step back. not when practically every other position is drawing 4 star level talent.

I think we can find someone from the portal. I'm sure that the noise around Coen for potential nfl openings isn't helping the QB recruiting. Still a bit surprising but maybe another season of throwing the ball may open UK back up to Higher ranked QB recruits.

I agree with the sentiment, but Burrow was a Rivals 3 Star/4 Star on TOS.

I guess we get to do a workout with a potential transfer, so it isn’t just based on HS film and evaluations.

Levis - 21 & 22
Terry - 18-20
Stephen - 16-17

Since the New Mexico St game #3 of 2016, this programs starting (true) quarterback has been transfers. And last 6 seasons results are good.

Wish we could land a high ranked 23 QB, but looking bleak. I predict the 2023 UK starting QB is right now on another CFB team's roster.

Re the '23starting QB....I think the '23 starter will be Hogan.

Don't forget about Destin Wade. He has some potential to make some noise in the QB room.

but back to recruiting
- Arden (N.C.) Christ School sophomore linebacker Cayden Jones has blown past double digit scholarship offers with Kentucky, Duke, Liberty, North Carolina and Oklahoma being his most recent. Jones said he would like to attend Junior Days and/or summer camps at North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee Ole Miss, Alabama, Georgia, Clemson and Florida. Alabama is the childhood favorite for Jones and he would like to make a decision before his senior season

Do not sleep on Kaiya Sheron. Think he has a great shot at taking over when Levis is gone. Wouldn't surprise me if he is QB2 this fall.
Good deal to me if he passes Beau - means he's better & has more years to develop & play.

Me thinks you are confusing MN for WI.
Devon Williams was a LB 2 years ago that flipped to Minn. The WR this decommitted but I thought there were a couple more from that area. I don't know of nay going to Wis
