at Omaha. Our biggest problem last year was injuries. We still won 16 games and the SEC Tournament despite that. I think Cohen will be on a mission to improve the offense in the offseason, and we should be better there- again, health will be a big part of that.
If we had stayed healthy, I think we would have won at least 18 games easily and probably upwards of 20. The teams that beat us last year as far as series- LSU on the road went to a SR and got upset by Stony Brook, Arkansas went to Omaha, South Carolina went to Omaha, Florida went to Omaha, and Auburn beat us at Auburn.
We also would have at least split with SELU on the road if we had stayed healthy. They got us at the right time for sure.
Like others have said, the key is hosting a regional. If we do that, we have a good shot at going to Omaha. Of course, ideally we would be a national seed and then it's all about taking care of business.
My goal is that we win 20 SEC games next year and host and possibly get a national seed. 20 wins might be enough for us to win the league as well.
