We gave up a 2 run bomb in top of the 9th.

Bases loaded with one out, just have to put it in play with 2 strikes. If it’s close, you have to hit it. You cannot leave it up to the umpire.

That’s the way it goes sometimes. It should be a valuable learning lesson for the team.
You are right also.

If it’s June, or a conference game- he’s taking Davis out in the 9th on at least the hit batter. We may still lose it with the closer, but I do think Oak makes that move.

It’s not same old same old. We got better tonight. Hell, we nearly pulled it out regardless.
