This has gone on too long. Bruce Pearl needs to come in mid season. I’m not exaggerating. Pope has to go. Our program can’t keep doing this on prime time games

POPE is getting boo'd on a national stage.....beyond horrible ....wow. this is an embarrassment that can't be explained.
If he doesn’t step down, something’s wrong with mark..
He has to step down. He has to.
there's just no other option. this is an embarrassment that just can't be argued against. pathetic is putting it easily
I never thought I would agree with this just one month ago, but he seems to be completely out of his element and has zero answers.
Pearl can’t help these types of players
He can have us some better ones next year
it's called ARROGANCE !!
He can at least hold them accountable for effort. He can command respect from the players and we wouldn’t look so embarrassing like we have tonight and against MSU.
Pope clearly doesn’t have the players respect and he definitely doesn’t have a defined expectation. At this level that’s a minimum must have.
Hes to busy teaching thes3 guys about gratitude. That's more important than basketball.
May have to revise my 17-14 prediction. We may not win more than 5-6 SEC games. Unbelievable how bad we look. If Mark loves UK like he says he does, he most definitely would admit he’s not the man for the job.
He cannot just quit, and UK cannot fire him right now. How bad would that look? I feel sorry for Pope as he has team turmoil. He needs to finish out the season and then decisions on both sides need to be made.
What recruit would want to play at UK after watching this year?
It’s gonna hurt. It’s not what we wanted. We have to hire a real coach
Nate Oats is the only answer. He was the only answer at the time and we didn't even try.
Most of them are about the money not winning anyway so you’d be surprised.
He was supposed to be an offensive savant. This offense truly sucks and even a decent coach could figure out some way for these players to score. Maybe a pick n roll. So darn frustrating.
he's a fukkn Mormon.
No. No more stepping down until MITCH BARNHART STEPS DOWN.
He can wag his finger in the face of this golf jockey from now on. No more of this guy. Him and the president have to go. Whoever is in charge of this get it over now. All of them.

Folks, Pope is not going to step down 9 games into his 2nd season nor is Barnhart going to let him go. This is as painful as anything I have witnessed in my years (since '67-'68) following the 'Cats. We have too many complimentary players, too many that are in over the heads at this level and we have no on court leader or "star" player. Going into the season with one PG is not good coaching, Aberdeen is a solid player but he is not a PG. It is going to be a long winter on the hardwood. Maybe JQ and Mo D will give us a spark, but looking way ahead to March, getting your *** kicked in 4 of out of the first 9 games on National TV will not do the team any favors on Selection Sunday and we have IU and ST. John's coming up and open SEC play against The Tide..we are in the deep end of the lake, dead engine and taking on water..We will see what the players and the coaches are made of.
Recruits are watching this disaster and we are going to lose every one of them.
We currently have none to lose
You may be shocked but we are only one piece from turning this around. Need to get JQ healthy and you will see.
The saddest but most accurate quote I've seen.
You absolutely call Dusty May, Nate Oats, Ben McCollum, and Bruce Pearl after this. Back channels and feelers need to passed.
That’s just not true. JQ will be just as poorly coached
That’s all you have?
I’ve been a UK fan longer than you have been alive.
So stick your personal insults up your ***.
The person you replied to is a troll account.
I don’t know the difference.
But I get the frustration.
It shouldn’t be personal. But it is.
