POPE is getting boo'd on a national stage.....beyond horrible ....wow. this is an embarrassment that can't be explained.

I never thought I would agree with this just one month ago, but he seems to be completely out of his element and has zero answers.
Pearl can’t help these types of players

Pope clearly doesn’t have the players respect and he definitely doesn’t have a defined expectation. At this level that’s a minimum must have.

May have to revise my 17-14 prediction. We may not win more than 5-6 SEC games. Unbelievable how bad we look. If Mark loves UK like he says he does, he most definitely would admit he’s not the man for the job.
He cannot just quit, and UK cannot fire him right now. How bad would that look? I feel sorry for Pope as he has team turmoil. He needs to finish out the season and then decisions on both sides need to be made.

He was supposed to be an offensive savant. This offense truly sucks and even a decent coach could figure out some way for these players to score. Maybe a pick n roll. So darn frustrating.

Folks, Pope is not going to step down 9 games into his 2nd season nor is Barnhart going to let him go. This is as painful as anything I have witnessed in my years (since '67-'68) following the 'Cats. We have too many complimentary players, too many that are in over the heads at this level and we have no on court leader or "star" player. Going into the season with one PG is not good coaching, Aberdeen is a solid player but he is not a PG. It is going to be a long winter on the hardwood. Maybe JQ and Mo D will give us a spark, but looking way ahead to March, getting your *** kicked in 4 of out of the first 9 games on National TV will not do the team any favors on Selection Sunday and we have IU and ST. John's coming up and open SEC play against The Tide..we are in the deep end of the lake, dead engine and taking on water..We will see what the players and the coaches are made of.
Recruits are watching this disaster and we are going to lose every one of them.
