The unrealistic expectations our fanbase has for ESPN and its hundreds of writers/reporters/commentators is fascinating.
I think its more of a little man complex. They mess up names occasionally. Get over it. The MSU/Ole Miss confusion is a little more understandable to get upset about because its pretty easy to figure out the difference, but to get mad about slipping up on a name is pretty stupid.
......Bram Weinstein calling S.W.A.T. James Varnado and calling him the Tornado thinking the words rhymed. his co-anchor Reischea Canidate refered to Maryland as (mair-uh-LAND). She sounded like a red from south rankin' county. I can get screwing up the pronunciation of a player's name, but damn, get the name right. How does that chick not know how to pronounce one of the States?
