Good news in this...

Steven Bench apparently saw Tyler Russell as too big of a threat to come to Mississippi State. Why would he come here if he didn't think he could dethrone our current QB?

I think Tyler is going to surprise some folks this year - in everything I have read, he seems very motivated to make up for his mistakes in the Egg Bowl and Gator Bowl. I hope this proves correct. That said, we definitely could have used another QB on the roster (and I ultimately wish Bench had decided to be a Bulldawg).
