Take it for what’s it’s worth. I don’t know what to believe anymore. If it happens it happens I guess. I’m not getting excited.

Lot's of smoke, but I don't believe it quite yet.
Not getting my hopes up everything I've read says he's a jailhawk
Sorry I screwed up
Thanks, I screwed up the original post. Once I saw what I did, I was to lazy to fix it.

This would excite the fanbase. it would be huge for Pope. Huge.
Ehhh...he's still a kid with Ky ties. Even if he comes here, Pope hasn't proven he can get top players that aren't Ky kids.
Lol!
Hope we get this one.
Lol!Hope we get this one.
All the haters would be all "Pope needs at least two more years". Bank it.

I’d rather lose stokes and get rid of pope vs landing him and being a bubble team. Which would be the case
Lmao what are you high
It's a fake news post. It's in the first reply
That or Pope overpaid.Ehhh...he's still a kid with Ky ties. Even if he comes here, Pope hasn't proven he can get top players that aren't Ky kids.

And any optimism immediately gone lol
Well pope ain't getting anyone in the top 50 much less the number one guy
I think if Pope could land Stokes that just might open the flood gates for recruiting. Mashburn was Pitino's first big time recruit.
There's no reason to think he's not KU tho. Sucks cuz I hate those guys but facts are facts
Pope will never sign top talent everybody knows this you cannot sustain success at a Blueblood that way recruiting is the lifeblood of a program
We will never be the old Kentucky with pope as coach. I don’t understand how some people still feel optimistic
And it's a shame too, because Stokes would change everything for Pope.
As nice as Mark is, he's a stubborn SOB when it comes to recruiting, GM, etc. We have the money to sign Stokes.
His stubborness is going to probably cost him his job after next season.
Hope he likes spreading the money out with two or three of his 2nd and 3rd tier portal guys instead of a legitimate top 5 pick.
Just to be clear, Mashburn went to UK because he was a Knicks fan and wanted to play for their former coach.
Hopefully alot of the future top 50 players are huge BYU fans from the early 2020s
People are so gullible when they are searching for hope from their coach.
Pope won't last if he keeps striking out on top targets.
I don’t quite believe it, and “If” we could somehow land Stokes and
r Collins, have a great portal haul along with a decent SEC finish and tourney run then I would stop giving Pope crap for a good while.

I’m wondering if it’s a ploy to get Kansas to pay more now. Kinda like they played us against them at first.
That’s all it’s ever been. I think Kansas has set a hard number finally.
There is absolutely zero chance pope is not the coach next season unless something insane happens. It’s after next season that it might be a possibility
