Sure is a statement. Although LB is only an above average team at best, and SB has another very strong team (or so I hear), I did not see this coming. LB could very well end up 6-4 if they lose to SC and ROB-not out of the question now. Marginal for the playoffs and at 6-4 only the fact that they will have played several teams with 7 or more wins would give them a shot to get in.
Stone Bridge looked as good as they have ever looked. Well prepared with solid athletes across the board. Lake Braddock seemed ill-prepared or even interested in this contest. Perhaps a Hermitage-Lake Braddock game would be apropos...
Highland Springs beat Meadowbrook last night 70-0. Could The Springers and The Dogs be headed on a collision course?...and HS' jv team won 70-0 Thursday night!
The score does not reflect the missed tackles, penalties, and other careless mistakes in today's game. With that said we have a very long season ahead of us and play away at Madison next Friday at a tough 6a school before we even get to conference play. I want to make it back to Hampton but we still have a lot of tweaking to do before we can even be mentioned in that conversation.
