What an intensifying cluster-17 college athletics continues to devolve into.
The name I keep seeing on Twitter is Brian Hartline at Ohio state
$37 mill to be paid within 60 days for a sport that’s secondary at your school. On the same day your dream coach got hired by someone else. This may be the dumbest thing I’ve heard.
I’m sure he is in high demand, everybody’s short list

That’s the only way they could make it work. Again, UK has one major benefactor and he doesn’t right checks to fire his friends (Stoops) and his foes (Calipari). They are lagging way behind in NIL for football. They just don’t have a bunch of heavy hitters.

The timing of the firing seems like they weren’t going to do it until they realized mid-afternoon they had no choice.
Why would they not have a choice?
Seems like if its performance based, they would have already realized that 24 hours ago.

And I’m seeing that Josh Huepel is going to talk to Penn State. Just wild all around. I can’t help but be concerned that if dominos continue to fall that we won’t be affected, which wouldn’t be the worst thing.

The administration needs to be on the phone with him to at least make contact to see what it would take come in and run the defensive side of the ball.
