all these silver lining posts need to stop, how the hell can you find some insignificant comment about how good we looked getting pounded worthy of a post, you should feel sick to your stomach that a program that was on the rise is about to burn to the ground, with no end in sight

We are the biggest frontrunners as a fanbase in college football living off the Louisville 2006 win. It's really endearing and frustrating at the same time--but what the F do you expect?

People fail to see we are in Year 2 of the B1G, and on our 3rd conference in 4 years and 2 years removed from being in a crap conference with a crap coaching staff paid in peanuts and on our 4th OC in 4 years because we have no major donors, a tightwad President, and not enough fans to cobble together donations to buy a B1G caliber coaching staff, even if they gave their profits from selling their OSU tickets last night. Oh, and a head coach who walked into the job as the last man standing when King Greg left town and was finished raiding the staff.

So, you know what, I am OK with being just as good or a little better than Indiana at this point. If last night's blowout occurred after year 2 of Head Coach Narduzzi or Head Coach Diaco, I would be fuming.

But with our staff, like you say to kids, you get what you get, and don't get upset.

I am not a pollyanna, but I do believe this team has the ability to come back and play a lot better. I certainly do not expect to play any team near OSU's talent again. That said, the next games will be really tough. We've shown that we can hang with teams considered contenders like MSU and I see no reason that we can't do it again.

Correct, it's about Ws and Ls. Last night was always a L. BUT, I think that this team is capable of more Ws after seeing the positives from yesterday. I think enough Ws to get to a bowl, which, from the preseason, was always the goal. Some saying we'd only win 3 or 4 games. And that was when we had our entire defensive secondary, Darius Hamilton, Leonte Carroo 100% healthy and playing for all 12 games not 10. I think we get to 6 wins at least.

LOL what teams are we going to beat besides Army? Did you notice Maryland scored on tOSU more than once or that they nearly beat TTFP, nevermind Nebraska?

We got our *** kicked by the defending national champ and arguably the best team in the country this year. Wisconsin got beat worse by tOSU in last year's Big Ten championship game. Just have a little perspective.

Look, if your negative, then things will be negative. We need three wins to go to a bowl. We should beat Army and Maryland. So, we have to win one of Nebraska, Wisconsin and Michigan. I think we have a shot at Michigan on the road.
We have Nebraska at home.

As fans, we have to get our heads screwed on straight and get ready to scream out a lung and be horse for a week. We have Nebraska at home!!

Last night was great! We played #1 OSU at home at night in Rutgers Stadium game on prime time national TV. Amazing!

From what I saw, OSU is going to win the National Championship.
2014
Big Ten Championship
OSU 59
#11 Wisconsin 0

Umm, remember West Virginia, who used to dominate the Big East? How did jumping conferences work out for them?
Let's see:
2012- 7-6, blowout losses to Texas Tech, K State,
2013- 4-8, blowout losses to Maryland, Baylor,
2014- 7-6, no blowout losses
2015- 3-3, blown out by Baylor

The frontrunners in our fanbase are amusing and adorable. We were supposed to waltz into one of the toughest divisions of the Power 5 conferences, and start competing toe to toe with the big boys in years 1 and 2?

All I ask is to be competitive every week. When we are not competitive it is not entertaining and borders on the embarrassing in games like last night. So we have now 2 games we were non competitive in out of 7 and trips to Camp Randall and Ann Arbor still looming. And while Nebraska is beatable they are also completely capable of kicking our *** if we don't play well. I'm now counting how many games we are noncompetitive in.

2013 = 3
2014 = 4
2015 = 2 + ???

If we lose but play with the tenacity and physicality we did vs MSU I can live with that no matter the final score.
