Seems like there was a thread about this not long ago but I can't find it.
Any suggestions for a good steak house?

McDonald's...

I heard one guy likes it so much he ate every meal there for 30 days in a row.

Not to be confused with McDowell's on Queen Blvd. Their bun doesn't have sesame seeds.

We like Old Mill Square as well, but our favorite meal when in the Gatlinburg area is to pick up KFC and head over to Cade's Cove, eat in the campground there, and begin a ride around the 11 mile loop about an hour before dark. Most deer you will ever see!

Peddlers is top notch ... they cut your steak in front of you for your approval and do an excellent job preparing it

The Applebarn for breakfast and lunch. The lunch menu is the same as the supper menu but the menu at night is much more expensive. For supper I saw some mention the Peddler and it simply can not be beat. Never had a steak there but their stuffed shrimp is unreal and their salad bar has anything you could possibly want. In my personal experience I have to disagree with the Old Mill. The one and only time I ate there the food seemed like it came right out of the back of a Cysco truck and dropped in a deep fryer. I was not impressed at all. However, there is a smaller restuarant in the area (by a pottery store) that is pretty good but I have forgotten the name. But to sum it up you have to go to the Peddler (call ahead for seating) and Apple Barn for breakfast and lunch.
