Here is link one and link two and link three. Link three is probably the best. Just doing my part to aid in the sixpack effort to kill work productivity.

Edit to add my designs:

Mine is similar, but I changed up the pants a little.

saying:

I don't care what the uniforms look like. OK. If the were tied dyed or rainbow or something like that, I would probably care. But, as long as they are mostly maroon and white, then I am not enough of a fashionista to really care beyond that -- not that there is anything wrong with that.

This is inspired by a look Northwestern once had with purple shirts and black pants. I do like solid color pants with no stripes.

On a football uniform the simplier the better. Solid maroon everything would be just fine with me. Simple logo on the helmet with Bulldogs written across the chest on the jersey. Done

Seeing some of these designs makes me want to keep what we have even more. I'm with those that like the simple plain stuff. Throw some maroon and white jersey and pants out there in whatever combo you want with a maroon or white helmet (I prefer the white actually) and slap some MSU or Mississippi State or Bulldogs on it and play. As long as the product on the field is good, I don't care what they wear. Penn State and Michigan have the best unis in the country, hands down.

No black. I hate when teams use black as an alternate color when it is not one of their official school colors. Duke and Florida do this sometimes in basketball and it looks ridiculous. If it's not one of the school colors, don't put it on the uniform.

quit with the black..im not tryin to look like a gamecock..the uniforms we have right now (besides our terrible helmets) are better than all of these renderings. however, diehard4dawgs is on the right track..A MAROON HELMET IS A MUST.

So we shouldn't do it because YOU don't like it? You don't even give a good reason besides the fact its not an official color. The Track, Baseball, and Softball teams have all incorporated it in certain ways over the years and it has looked great. I wish you better luck with your second post.

Here is my admittedly plain attempt. I'm a "less is more" guy but I also agree with PorkChop in that I don't care what we wear as long as we win.

Should we also tell all schools that don't have white as a primary color to quit using white for their road jerseys?

Croom had a black pullover on with the M State on it, perhaps you should inform him also.
I guess I should probably call the AD now and tell him to disregard my design since you know this was a true design contest. I always title my professional work "for ***** and giggles."

as any reason I've seen for wanting it. But, yeah, now that you mention it, the fact that black is NOT one of our colors is a pretty damn good reason not to wear it.

Uh, EVERY school has white as a secondary color. And if teams used only primary colors, most school's uniforms would be solid with no numbers, logos, trim or anything.

I would not say that black is one of our primary colors, but pretty much every MSU uniform up until Croom has had black accents.

I don't mind seeing gray or even black as trim colors (in fact I like gray as a trim color), but we don't ever, ever need to wear a primary color other than maroon and white. Besides, the whole "wear black even though it's not one of the school colors" is so played out by now.

Yeah, that was pretty much the whole "for ***** and giggles" part of the post that some seem to have missed.

I think we should use the black on black at some point. It is so intimidating why shouldnt we cash in on the craze to show we are a top tier team that can do things like that.
