Assuming the Huskers hang on, this is a good series win. I think NU will probably need a sweep or two to win the conference, but there are other opportunities coming up.

Should have won on Friday, but rain delays do affect game chemistry. Shoulda, woulda, coulda... This team is looking good regardless.

Yeah, on the bright side, looks like Maryland lost today in a curfew-shortened game. So Indiana took that series 2-1.

Need some help from Illinois when they host Maryland next week, and then Northwestern when they go to Maryland the week after. Hopefully the Terps won't sweep either of them.

Don't know why Erstad waits so long to pull his pitchers. Maybe he just doesn't have the bullpen. Good thing we have such a huge lead.

So i dont follow ohio st baseball religiously, but i recall them being pretty good at the end of last year. So what happened? Key losses to personnel or were they just a mediocre team that got hot for a few weeks?
