Where is the pass interference on that last play? Holding receivers arm. Yeah the fix is in for Denver. [eyeroll]

Peyton has got to be done after this game. He better hope the defense can hang on. He's got nothing left.

He's like the kid from "Rookie of the Year" when his magic wears off.

Does Manning even know how to do the Dabby or Dobby or whatever you call that dance? :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Find it interesting that an obvious pass INT call wasn't made when it would of helped Carolina ...but boy oh boy they loved calling that defensive hold on Carolina at the end. I just turned it back on in the 4th quarter to see that lol. maybe i'm just back luck.

Calls made were the correct ones for the most part. Cam was just not ready tonight pure and simple.

its easy to get to the QB when you are allowed to hold all game long. Its exactly how Manning lost the super bowl to Seattle a couple of years ago. Matter of fact, I bet Carolina wins the super bowl within the next 2 years as a make up for this

I wouldn't call the game fixed so much as I would predictable. Either Cam would run wild or denver's defense would get to him. I do not think too many obvious calls were missed at all.

The only thing fishy about this game was how Vegas played it(which was the exact same way they played the N.E. Game). When money pours in on a team and Vegas isn't changing the line at a normal rate(which I've heard and have no clue how to prove it) of 500K one way moves it .5 pt. For this game it was said by Vegas book reports that money was coming in at an 8/1 ratio in favor of Carolina, yet the line barely moved as far as that goes. So basically Vegas was betting on Denver.

Denver won and covered, and to make matters worse bettors also pounded the halftime line which was also Carolina -4.5(didn't even have to win) and Denver covered that as well.

That in a nutshell is why people scream fixed!

Halftime show was an abomination. Again. Just f-ing dreadful. I'm still completely unconvinced there was much talent represented on that stage tonight. I know all those artists are rich doing what they do but it's as much a commentary on the sorry state of the music business as much as anything.

Go look around the net. or talk to a FBI agent that has spent time looking into sports gambling. The NFL can fix any game it wants as long as those in the offices dont gamble on the game or people close to them. If you use the freedom of information act... the NFL in court has gotten out of it before by claiming to be an "entertainment"

That is BS. Cam had his chance early on. He made some bad throws that could have changed the game. Fact of the matter is Denver's defense was just that much better than Carolina's offense. The better team won.

Papa John being one of the first guys on the field, and kissing Peyton, was pretty bizarre.

Travathan won't get much publicity with the way Miller and Ware played, but those two fumble recoveries he had were huge.

I only mentioned the FBI because it was a former FBI agent who told me what to look for in fishy games.. like point spreads way off and certain things..

Happy for Manning. He's right about not making an emotional decision. BUT-- once it all calms down, he needs to go ahead and ride off into the sunset. Tonight was all about Denver's incredible D, and they won in spite of Manning and the O.

I didn't think Denver had a chance of coming out on top in this SB. I just hoped the game would be interesting, at least through the 3rd quarter.

I knew Denver's D was tough, but Cam and some of the Panthers must've also had a case of SuperBowl-itis, which I didn't think would happen. I expect Carolina will learn from this and be back for another shot, sooner rather than later.

I knew Denver would win this when everyone had appointed the Panthers champs before the game.

The Denver D dominated Newton even more than they did Brady.

Sooo thoughts on Indiana's decision to trade Peyton? The four years without Peyton, Manning went to two Super Bowls and the playoffs all four years.

Did they make a mistake?

Well the Colts went to the playoffs 3 times (beating Peyton once), probably wouldn't have won a Super Bowl even with him any of those years, would have won 3 games if he was still their QB this year, and now they have a 25 year top 10 QB instead of a 40 year old cripple. So no, they 100% came out on top.

This is banking on the Colts going to at least one Super Bowl with Luck. Do you see that happening?

You do realize that Manning was the worst QB in the league this season, right?

There is more to a Super Bowl caliber team than the QB. Heck, just ask Peyton Manning. His stint at Indy is evidence of that fact.

Not saying there isn't more to getting to a Super Bowl. But outside of this year, he always gave his team a chance and wasn't he injured for most of this season?

A lot of black guys on Twitter calling anyone cheering for the Broncos or non-Cam Newton fans "racist" . My God...

Yes, 80 percent of the league is black and everyone who doesn't like Cam just cheered for tons of black players on the Broncos yet "they're racist." I guess Denver was all-white and they saw it as Cam vs "white America."

No the colts did the right thing. Heisman I know you just stirring up conversation, but Luck is clearly one of those Peyton type QBs you don't pass up on. Condsidering Peyton was out and they got the #1 because of that they had to take Luck who will be there 10-12 more years. If you can have Peyton/Luck as your QB for 25 years I'd say you'd have the best run of QB play ever!

Who would you prefer next year? Peyton or Luck?
