I’m not disagreeing with anything you’re saying, I’d only add I suspect the problem is there just isn’t a “middle America” anymore - we all kinda stay in our own sandbox, and they don’t overlap a whole lot.

Kendrick Lamar is not exactly new. Been pretty popular for about 12-13 years. Typical for the average halftime show. Artists who were at there peak at least 5-10 years ago. Not my thing at all, but I imagine he’s the first halftime performer with a Pulitzer Prize.

That might have been one of the most boring super bowls. The pregame was more entertaining than the game or the half time show. Not having Lil Wayne for a New Orleans half time show should be a fireable offense. Hell even Lainey Wilson is a big name and native to Louisiana. And who doesn't want to watch that in those jeans? Lamar makes no sense. As far as the game, It seems like Mahomes tried to throw the game. That's the worst I've seen him play in a long time. Chiefs looked like they didn't want to be there

I couldn’t name a Lainey Wilson song if you hung me over a balcony like Suge Knight did Vanilla Ice. The only thing I know about Lainey Wilson is that she used to have a round ***, took some Ozempic and now her *** looks like a skillet…. And she has a cute face and wears hats. I don’t know that the average person has any sort of Lainey Wilson cultural awareness. I could be wrong though.
