I have not a clue but my best guess is that New England will find a way there and will face the Giants again with a different result this time.

Carolina pissed away that game Sunday night or else they'd have homefield advantage but I still like them. I'm a big fan of the power running game and the Panthers can do it. They also have the most dangerous skill player in Steve Smith. I like them in a rematch with the Giants, as long as Delhomme doesn't screw it up.
I think the Pats will make the playoffs (they'll win this weekend and the Jets will beat Miami), beat the Ravens and then lose to Pittsburgh.. I think San Diego beats Denver this weekend to get into the playoffs, then they'll beat Indy at home and then lose at Tennessee. Rematch of Tennesee and Pittsburgh goes just like it did this weekend.
Titans use the power running game and defense to win the championship.

To each his own. I hate to watch teams do nothing but sling the ball around all day. Two teams that can't stop each other is more boring than anything. Just because the final score is 56 to 52 doesn't mean it was a good football game.

Didn't New England and Arizona "sling it around" last weekend to the tune of 44-7 Patriots? Not a good example.

and it's going to catch up to them in the playoffs.. they're going to have to win @ 2 of the following: Tennessee, Pittsburgh, New England, San Diego. They normally have problems with the 3-4 pressure defense (Pittsburgh and San Diego) and Peyton doesn't play well in crappy weather (possibly New England and/or Pittsburgh). If they were going to get even one game at home, that would be one thing but they're gonna be on the road throughout.

You can pretty much count on the cold weather teams if they have the home field. I can't see Indy, San Diego, Miami or even Dallas ,if they make it, going far if they have to go into places like New York or New England in January.

they're coming on at the right time, Phillip Rivers is playing the best QB of anybody in the league and he really showed me something last year in the playoffs on a bum knee. They're the one team that nobody is talking about who could make a run.

But I'll take Godfrey's score: Falcons 31, Titans 28.

Brees being 400 yards shy of Marino's record, combined with Payton starting to feel some heat in the seat of his pants, lead to the Saints spanking Carolina in NO this weekend.

ATL beats STL, so ATL gets the first-round bye and wins the South.

The NFC South home teams remain undefeated in division games this season, and the NFC South "worst to first" trend continues for another year.

and the SB isnt played in the snow...warm weather, neutral turf...it would be a great game and much more entertaining than anything Pitt, Tenn, or the NY football Giants could come up with

and how can Brandon Jacobs running over people including Ray Lewis be boring?

Also, Arizona has not scored over 20 points in three of their last four games, the only exception being ****** St. Louis. So they aren't exactly playing interesting games themselves. As a matter of fact, the Giants average more points per game than the Cardinals, against much tougher competition. Shouldn't the team who scores more be more exciting?

if you think NY playing Pitt, Baltimore, or Tenn is going to be exciting when the score ends up 13-10, then thats just you.

When those defenses get 2 weeks to prepare, there just wont be any scoring- thats fact....just wait and see

I watched Pittsburgh and Baltimore slug it out to the tune of 13-9 and that was a GOOD football game. Give me a hardfought 20-17 game over a 41-38 shootout all day long. Bad defense doesn't equal good football in my book.

this time of year you're not gonna see a bunch of high scoring games in the NFL. The Pats had the best offense in the history of the NFL and they had to grind it out in the playoffs last year, culminating with a 17-14 game in the Super Bowl. For the most part, playoff teams aren't gonna give up 30 points in a game (unless Denver somehow gets in).

The Colts have been mediocre throughout most of the season, but here they are on top in December. Somehow, they are able to get it done at critical times. They step up and they know how to win when they shouldn't.

However, if they get Pittsburgh on a typical weather day, they will be up against it. But what if the weather is unusually mild? That's part of my prediction.

Let me throw in a score: Giants 27 Colts 28.

When the subject of a good defensive slugfest versus an offensive shootout comes up, just bring up the worst offensive coaching you'll likely ever see in college football. It's not like the Croom Coast Offense skews stats or anything.
