After half I pointed out to my brother that Mullen looks to be making the play calls. He was looking on his sheet a lot more than I have seen him doing in the past few games. I want to say this was just after half.

2nd half. Also, you could see Russell looking to the side line at pre-snap, he is showing the coaches which side the pressure is most likely to come from (right or left) just in casethe coaches did not know or see it.
Anyway, it was good to see Russell go thru this process - he was already thinking what play he'd like to see called based on the defense. I really think he is finally prepared both mentally and physically to take this team over............and finally begin to live up to his AA hype.

When Russell throws the ball, it actually spirals and doesn't take forever to get to the intended receiver only to be three feet too high on arrival causing the receiver to leap and get annihilated on the way back down. Also, Russell is smarter than Relf. He just is. There aint no two ways about it. I would love to see Dan take over offensive play calling. That is, after all, kinda what he is good at.
