Mattis not in on the council. Director of national Intelligence not in the council. ( both need invites to attend)! Bannon is. What did I get wrong? And why could this possibly be a smart move? I'll wait.

Very dangerous move, imo. This is circumventing the structure of the NSC that stands independently from the administration. Basically forming the entire IC into an apparatus of the administration?
