There have been a couple of absolute classics over the last few years between these 2 teams. Thoughts?

Going by the NS score last night Swain's defense seems to be down this year..West should take this one....
Agree. Walkertown is a machine. The team from across the river will probably report me for saying they will lose. But they will and at this point I could care less. West will have their hands full if they get past Swain. Especially with all the injuries. Not to mention the debacle of last season.
This game has been one of the most interesting playoff contest through the years, but I just don't know if this year's Maroon Machine will matchup as well with the Warriors as they have in year's past, but make NO mistake, the Maroondevils coaching staff is as good, and prepares their team as well as anyone....The problem this year as mentioned is the youth, mixed with injuries and inexperience at key positions....Swain generally always gets better as the season progresses because they play, and want to play as difficult an early season schedule as possible before conference play begins....They took their lumps this year with that approach, but they have also started to get more production from their offense, and I'm sure there might be a youngster or two from the JV team that might be getting some time now, especially on special teams...In Coach Eddins and his staff, the Warriors will be very familiar, and well prepared for the Swain attack, which certainly benefits a more mature and experienced team, and gives West a decided advantage with the game being in Mount Gilead....
I think we will be able to score. Looking back over the last few years the only teams we truly struggled against as far as scoring was Albemarle when they were still a beast, and more recently E. Guilford and James Kenan. We need the defense to step up and carry us. This is the playoffs. Defense wins championships.
I made my comment specifically for the Swain game. I have no idea what you are talkng about Sway. I for one have not forgotten that we got dusted in the 2nd round last year. And 2nd round this year is Swain. And we have to play defense or we will get beat again. That was our downfall in round 3 a couple years ago and round 2 last year. Don't try to create drama where there is none.
Going to miss this one as I'll be in Tennessee, but I don't see much of a game unless we can patch up that big hole in the middle that NS ran through continuously. We do have some good receivers in #3 & #84, but it seems all we want to run with them sometimes is go routes. If WM throws the ball on us like Murphy did, then it won't even be a contest.
Going to be weird playing in round 2. Last 2 were for all the western marbles. And 2 of the best high school football games I have ever personally witnessed.
WM should win this one scoring pretty easily but I think this will be the first real test for WM's defense. If the D holds Swain to a couple scores or less look out.
And this game will be the 5th anniversary of the first classic between these two teams. I'm pulling for a similar outcome, but it will be a far more shocking upset than the first time, if they can pull it off. 
Only thing that worries me about this time of year is the last couple of years our guys have felt invincible (last year in particular) and we really got it handed to us last year. While I have picked us to win on all these threads, nothing would shock me any more. Swain is always tough and their reputation precedes them. I just hope the guys who have never played against Swain before are ready for a pounding, win or lose.
I'm like you... This could be the most physical team we've faced by far... But I have great confidence in our staff that they will have these guys ready. I'm almost certain the seniors haven't forgotten last year and if they have I'm sure Eddins will remind them! Go get'm Warriors!
Eddins is no dummy. I would think he will attack Swain right up the gut just like NS did.......
Come on Warriors. Take care of business. Look past no one. Don't forget that disgusting taste after last year. I know I haven't. Would love to see a W-Town rematch. I know Eddins does. Go out there and make em play your game!!!!! Stay healthy!!!!!! Hit em where it hurts!!!! No more Mr nice guy!!!!! Lol!!!!
This isn't a vintage Swain team by any means. The Maroon Devils will play hard and be well prepared like always but I expect the Warriors to win this game big if they're as good as I think.

WEST wins BIG. West is way too good across the board to lose to a team that gave up 42 at home to this years North Stanly team. It will be as bad as Eddins wants it to be.
WM takes this one. Devils just ain't quite up to their own standards this time, but I wouldn't be too suprised if they keep it close. Can anyone advise how this game can be followed? Radio? Streaming? Anything?
