I'm honestly surprised so many people were happy that coach Cobb retired. I thought he had opened up your offense personally.
Those that were happy get most of their football knowledge from playing Madden. Of course, the former players are upset. Yes, he opened things up finally, but this coach has shut everything back down.

0-28 at the half. Honestly, they've outplayed us by a much larger margin. I'm shocked that they only have 28. I strongly believe that we are going to come out in the second half and play with even less energy. You know when a team just gives up and wants to go home. I think that's what we'll get from SWE.
SMH. Maybe Raymond Cobb has another relative somewhere lol. Also Eric duff leaving to come to Tarboro had to be a pretty big blow as well.
Just learned that Hunt had to forfeit their 49-0 win over Beddingfield from last week. So officially, they are 1-1. But on the field, they are about to be 3-0.
That was our 4th or 5th unsportsmanlike conduct penalty. We are not good enough to be out there acting like we're bad to the bone.
For those that thought the wing T would be the saving grace for SWE over the wishbone....

Gotta have some faith lol. I hope it resembles the atmosphere that previous Tarboro Southwest games have had.
Maybe, if y'all bring the rest of the county with you. Listen, I know it was a Thursday night, and a lot of people probably didn't know that the game was being played tonight, but I don't think that is any excuse for us bringing at most 20 people to Wilson tonight. Wilson is only 20 miles from Pinetops.
Our fans know what it is. Don't come over expecting a great atmosphere this year.
You know Tarboro will bring a crowd lol. People are also probably gun shy still about covid as well so that also comes into play.
SWE is young and with new coach that I feel will be ok once he gets out from under the shadow of the Cobbs. But Hunt ran the ball all night as they have in there wins over Rose and Beddingfield. Waiting for release of QB Mike Thomas from ACL surgery to run OC Mike Pittman’s uptempo spread game. Name sound familiar he played at both SWE and Tarboro.
