If we're careful with the ball I think we're 2 tds better. We turn it over 5 times like the other night we may be done
I think it's a toss up, would like to see these 2 teams play at a neutral site instead of at the Pound.
Hopefully we clean up on the turnovers this week. If we do I feel like we can win this game because not sold on SWE stopping our running game all night. I’m thinking a 28-13 type win for the Dogs at home.

I talked with a dogs fan yesterday, and even he echoed what I’ve been hearing that this isn’t a traditional Wallace team. I think swe has the talent to compete, but I’m taking the dogs at home. Swe is one of those teams much better than their record indicates, but I think the dogs will be to much at home
Haven't we apologized enough for making the game close? How dare we do such a thing? Being an undefeated 1 seed didn't matter. We must have cheated. At this point, I need to check to make sure y'all even won the game, because if someone were to listen to y'all still whining about it, they'd think you lost. Never seen people cry so much about a win.

I think they run a little option, and they'll pass it too. Someone from SWE should have more info on them.
just something to think about. If I'm playing Wallace I am going to put more men in the box than they can block, set the edges for jet sweeps and force them to throw the ball. They haven't shown the ability to do that all season and if they beat me doing that then so be it. Lock up on rec's and fill gaps up front. I will also admit that I coach best from here and the stands

Man the things I could tell you and I’m no coach but being close to our staff I hear a lot. Over the years of following high school ball I have learned that yes some coaches don’t like other coaches in their conferences and come playoff time they will help other coaches in the playoffs. In regular season in conference play it happens. Coaches make friends with other coaches just like we do here. Honestly it’s nothing to be surprised at. Bottom line the kids still have to make the plays on the field.

, now that was funny and very true.I’ve seen this Wallace team play multiple times this year. They’re a great coached football team, but I’m just not impressed. Southwest plays the hardest 2A conference in the East, and I think they’ve got a great shot at winning Friday night. It’s going to be interesting to say the least.

Is that how you look at things? WRH lost to North Lenoir this year. You can’t look at any of that.
Can you look at last 4 wins? Kinston, East Duplin, James Kenan, Washington
I know Coach Mot from his time at NHHS. He is a players coach and I like him. There has been some inconsistency from year to year at WRH and I am not sure why - chemistry maybe. That said, it seems like this year has been inconsistent or maybe Mot has done a great coaching job. Whatever the reason, they seem to be playing well at the right time.
I generally don’t worry too much about early season losses with East Duplin , but this year they started stacking up. RB #39 is back and based on a St Paul’s posters comments it was good ole ball control O. Can they keep West Craven’s QB off the field? If ED makes every WC possession critical then watch out. I have learned not to bet against Battle.

I like Coach Mot too! We talk from time to time on the phone. I don’t bother him much during the season. He will have them ready to play and I feel like SWE will give them a good game. It’s just tough to go into the pound and get a win this time of year.
I’m sure Coach Battle will have his team prepared to play their style of ball control. But it’s not just Battle Holley we are talking about but also Brian Aldridge and the rest of that tough staff they have. I think there is like 4 former head coaches on that staff. You got to respect them. It don’t get any better than being able to play a Duplin County team in round 2! I hate this realignment stuff cause it’s going to divide us from some of these great programs that are currently in 2A. I hate to see that coming. 2A as it has been since we got in it has been some great football.

You do realize that SWE lost to Farmville Central, West Craven beat Farmville Central, and then SWE beat WC? In other words, making bets like that will lose you your house quickly, because WC should have beaten SWE, according to your logic. Results vs common opponents don't matter at all. There are a lot of reasons why WRH can beat SWE, but that's a crazy one to lean on. It's sports, not transitive properties.
no one said anything about making bets , this has nothing to do with logic just facts howeverno need to get your bp up , anything can happen during playoffs on a given night any team can win, as far as transitive properties i have no idea what you are talking about your vocabulary is much more expansive than mine not impressed however because i only have a HS education i don't know any better.
