My dad is nearly 70 years old, just now getting use to walking on his two new artificial knees. We both live far from Lexington and far from each other. Neither he or I have ever been to a UK game in person because of distance and, when we were both younger, money. I now have the means to treat my dad to a steak and a football game, so I targeted the Vandy game as a good time to go. The weather should be nice and the game will be one of the more competitive than most games on our schedule.
Unfortunately, I now nothing about how to actually go to a college football game (oh, the shame). Where is the best place to get tickets? To park? What are the pre-game experiences that my dad should see? Are there things that every one who goes regularly "knows" that a novice like myself doesn't?
Thanks ahead of time, everyone.
