Just a note from your neighbor, just up the road aways, wish and hope the very best for Tarboro this year. EVERYBODY in Mt Airy that I know absolutely respects the daylights out of Tarboro, its school, its players and its COACHS. We will miss the anticipation of a possible game with one of the greatest programs in the history of the State.

I wish I could but I already have "reserved" seats at Mt Tabor scrimmage which Mt Airy was invited to. I sure wish Tarboro and Mt Airy could have scheduled either a true scrimmage or, better yet, a game at a neutral site mid-season. LOL dreams most the time do not come true!

It was always scheduled for Thursday as it is Labor Day weekend.

Week 1 is in the books and the Vikings are 1-0. It was not pretty at all, but I am glad to be 1-0. You cannot be 2-0 until you're first 1-0. Good night everyone!
