Grindr?
Grindr?
A lot of miserable people walking around out here.So you want to demand they be miserable and tattoo-less their whole lives so you'll feel comfortable? Does your good book tell you it's a sin?
I'm just having fun with you after your diatribe yesterday ;-)A lot of miserable people walking around out here.
This wasn't even true in the 90's when Boomers made this saying popular. It would be good for you to enter the current decadeI definitely encourage people not to get a tattoo. There aren’t really any positives but potential negatives. Could limit job opportunities, etc. Some Country Clubs want allow admittance. Things like that.
You couldn’t even have visible tattoos in the military until a few years ago. Visible tattoos in the workplace have definitely been frowned upon until maybe Covid. I don’t know what industry you are in, but white collar jobs and visible tattoos are not common. This wasn't even true in the 90's when Boomers made this saying popular. You know… to each their own. But life is too short to care what other people think.Do you think this is on the same level? I definitely encourage people not to get a tattoo.
I like having artwork on me. It makes me happy to look at my tattoos. And people compliment them all the time. Which is plenty positive. There aren’t really any positives but potential negatives.
I think this is more old fashioned thinking. Tattoos are WAY more mainstream these days. And it’s so so so easy to coverup most tattoos if you’re really worried about that.Could limit job opportunities, etc.
Oh no! I can’t get into a country club anymore! Some Country Clubs want allow admittance. Things like that.
So that was my question. Why are they more mainstream? You know… to each their own. But life is too short to care what other people think.

This is a wild take. It really is like you are playing a character from 50 years ago.You couldn’t even have visible tattoos in the military until a few years ago. what are the positives?
Where do yall live that that this isn’t normal? This is a wild take. It really is like you are playing a character from 50 years ago.
I would agree that you have been very sheltered.Where do yall live that that this isn’t normal?
I guess I have been very fortunate and sheltered.
Have you ever even left spartanburg once?Where do yall live that that this isn’t normal?
I guess I have been very fortunate and sheltered.
What are you even talking about. I work a white collar tech job and 80-90% of people at my company, and in tech in general, have tattoos. Have you been living under a rock? You couldn’t even have visible tattoos in the military until a few years ago. Visible tattoos in the workplace have definitely been frowned upon until maybe Covid. I don’t know what industry you are in, but white collar jobs and visible tattoos are not common.
what are the positives?
I wouldn't step foot on one of those courses. The PGA has no rules against tattoos. Most chefs and farriers have them to cover up for burns.Do you think this is on the same level? I definitely encourage people not to get a tattoo. There aren’t really any positives but potential negatives. Could limit job opportunities, etc. Some Country Clubs want allow admittance.
