Navy aviator town. GO Navy! Largest city in the US in sq miles.
It was not a good spot for the Super Bowl. But, I suspect a college bowl game is no where near as big.
Jacksonville is no Miami. College football fans should have a good time. That's where the biggest cocktail party takes place. UF GA game
I heard they have a wonderful TGI Fridays there.
40 miles to St Augustine, 2 hrs to Daytona, and 2 1/2 hrs to Disney World.

Lived in Jax four years from 89-93...absolutely loved it. Great city, down to earth real people.

Went to the Packers-Jags game this fall and the stadium is top notch with good tailgating areas surrounding. Hope this is the spot.
if any one goes there. be sure to look up the restaurant. called the big oak. it is a real good place with great food and reasonable prices. anything from burgers to steak to chicken to seafood.

We'd face a Big 10 opponent if we go to the Music City Bowl. If we go to the Taxslayer Bowl, then it would be an ACC opponent. Personally, I'd rather play Miami or Georgia Tech than Nebraska/Iowa. Georgia and Florida are our two most important out of state recruiting areas after Ohio. I think an SEC/ACC match-up will help get more recruits eyes on us.
Are you talking about the Tree Steakhouse in rhe Mandarin area of Ajax? Big Live Oak tree covered with moss in the parking lot? If so, the served great steaks when I lived there in 1988.

No way I can afford to buy tickets to a game I might not be attending
Unfortunately there are no hotels in the Downtown Jax area that are within walking distance to Everbank stadium. There is however a River Ferry that has stops at the major downtown hotels that will drop you close to stadium. Your best bets are going to be the Crowne Plaza, Hyatt or Omni.
If this is nothing more than a guess, then why is everyone acting as if this is a done deal. Why is this any different than others guessing the belk or the MCB?
