Just get the OL better. Run the damn ball. If this guy can hit throws and avoid sacks - fantastic. But we need to get tough. We need to punish opposing defenses

Back in the 90's, we had a set of Hoova Deuce Crips in Omaha. That has nothing to do with Josh Hoover, but that's what it reminded me of.

well I thought I saw something in the media that said Rhule was favoring toughness over talent.. it led me to believe we are looking for a more running style system, but maybe not. I really think Rhule needs to reset what he wants to do here, as he will be judged on it.

Go with a passing guy, ok, but it better work or fans will have had enough.

Go with a running system, you better dump Dana and get a different OC. Fans will be more patient with getting the running game going if they see progress towards it.

Rhule is kind of in a pickle to be honest.

Bring Tom Brady in here tomorrow, won't make the slightest difference overall if there is not a major upgrade to the OL.

Spend money there.

Do they have to choose either or? Can't it be both?

FWIW, go back and look at the top paid OL from the portal last year. Did any of those guys dominate or provide any positive ROI. Sure they teams they were on had some good records, but were those players provide the value they were paid?

I have no inside information nor clue but am mentally anticipating them to get a former 4 star freshman QB and just going with Lateef next year with Trae battling for starter in 2027. I expect they'll spend more on the lines and hoping that that outcome is more productive than spending a similar amount on a QB alone. Whether that's the right decision or not, I don't know but it's what I'm anticipating. I expect them to try something different due to the 2 year extension and a much more difficult schedule.

Slower than Dylan. 4.9. 40 apparently. A better question though is if he is a WILLING runner. You don’t have to be a sub 4.6 guy to be an effective runner from the QB position. Dylan was rarely willing to run.
Let alone willing to take a couple steps forward or to the side when he sees someone coming right at him. He even willingly just laid down a couple times.

We will never punish opposing defenses like the 90’s and cheat juice. Alabama and Georgia and the legit teams can punish teams, but that’s never happening here again.

It can happen again under the right DC and DL coach
