But they don't weave the ball around the top of the key for the first 10-15 seconds of the shot clock.

......and for no apparrant reason or purpose. They'll have it perfected by Feb or Mar and then we'll all see the strategy and recognize the genius involved.

They do televise NIT games don't they?

UT will beat us like a rented mule both games and if we play in the sect. They’re all grown men who actually play hard instead of worrying about how they look or staring down opponents after a block late in the game while play is still going on.

Sarcasm? His teams don’t play D and they turn the ball over 25 times a game. Good coaches make adjustments to his offense and shut them down. Having Crean as your coach is disheartening because you know the good coaches will out coach him.
Know exactly how you feel. It’s the exact same way with Cal. If the other coach has any talent at all and the coach is even an average-above average bench coach then we can pretty much guarantee being out coached and probably losing.

The more I watch SEC basketball, the more I realize we are going to be somewhere in the middle of the conference at best.
Tennessee is challenging Gonzaga, Auburn is very good and I'm sure we are also going to lose to a few more .Oh well, we can not be good in Football and basketball in the same year.
Whatever happens, we will survive somehow.
It is over. UT over Zaga.
Preview of the coming attractions:cry:

Okay if UK gets beat don't be on here acting suprised then, jeez.

What makes you think anyone has been surprised by our losses? I'm not surprised by losses at this point. I'm surprised at how much the program has declined since the Wisconsin loss. We've been a borderline top 25 team 2 of the last 3 years, and there's little to suggest it isn't going to be 3 out of the last 4. That's what's surprising.

It really is surprising. I get we can't have the number one recruiting class every year, but to whiff on as many top prospects as we have the last couple of years is baffling. I just can't figure out what has changed. Duke getting into the one and done is a major factor but that doesn't explain it all away.

UK finished #10 in the final AP poll for 15-16.

That's not borderline top 25.

But don't let the facts get in your way.

But they only have a 3 star PG and no rim protector. I was told that's why we struggle, all 3 of our 5 star PGs cant play and neither can our 5 star 7 foot center. It's the players, not the system... remember.

We were very solidly top 25 in 2016. Almost everyone would say that we were underseeded at 4. Solidly top 15 is easy to say. 2017 we were top 5.

That team lost 9 games, only beat 3 ranked teams all year, lost 7 games to unranked teams and bowed out to an incredibly mediocre IU team. If you want to convince yourself that was a Top 10 team, by all means continue to do so. It was irrelevant in terms of the national college basketball scene.

They have grown men while we have young freshmen. Tennessee could very well take both games.

Another example of the cons of the OAD system. Upperclassmen know the system.

I don't have to convince myself of anything, dumbass.

They finished the season rated #10 in the final AP poll. Computer ratings generally backed that up, with UK mostly between 9-12.

You might not have agreed with it, but you denying the reality of it doesn't make it any less real.

[QUOTE="ZaytovenCat, post: 7436123, member: 11710"worrying about how they look or staring down opponents after a block late in the game while play is still going on

[/QUOTE]

Unfortunately this is how our players have been acting the past several years. They flex and draw attention to themselves even though there is plenty of time left in the game. You could tell it fired Powell up because he immediately came down and hit a 3 in PJs face and made some more good plays thereafter.

One great play does not win the game.

Play like that the entire game and we’ve got something.

LMAO!! You never cease to amaze. It's your high posting time period after a loss, aye?
