hate to get off topic but:

the RMKTC match between roddick/blake was incredible, 3rd set tie break, not sure how many/if any of you guys made ittonight but the raquet club was rocking.

Also, noticed the discrepancy in the payout, men's champ gets 250k, women's champ gets 37k, i don't have a problem with it but i had no idea it was that large of a difference

The reason for the big discrepancy in the payout is that the Memphis event is really two separate tournmanets. The men's tournament is the top level tournament being played this week (it's the level just below the Grand Slams and the Masters events so there's really only a dozen or so tournaments all year that are significalty bigger), while the women's tournament is a lower-level event. There's a really big women's tournmant being played in Dubai this week that has most of the top players in it, and pays a whole lot more money.

I was really looking forward to seeing him this weekend but saw he got put out early

playing 5 matches in San Jose last week (including 3 that went 3 sets) then having only 1 travel day before having to play in Memphis. Roddick hadan extra day rest and still almost got beat by a rapidly fading James Blake.
