...although I wonder what happens next year when Warren, Polynice and Gaskins come back? Will there be enough balls to go around, or will Andy Kennedy have to cut some off?

Regarding Backer's post...

White will be a starter next year, likely over Huertas. Polyniece never has been that big of a scorer, he's out there more for his defense and his ability to drive and kick the ball back out.

Considering that Warren and Huertas were both avg over 20 ppg before Warren went down, I think there will be enough shots to go around. Everybody's avg will drop a little, but I'd rather be balanced and every person be able to score than relying on one or two people putting up 20 per game (look at UK for this example).

I would not trade Dee for many people right now. He is the heart of our team and next year he will make less mistakes.

and trading those two would be apples and oranges. Its just not the same. White isn't a PG, and a competent PG can make alot of difference. I think Bost will be very, very good before he leaves.

Ronny said he wouldn't trade anybody for White. If I were a State fan, I wouldn't trade Varnado, Ravern, or Bost for him, but anybody after that is game.

Yea, that's my biggest concern for our team next year, how everyone will mesh, and who will be the go to guys.

Defining everyone's role is going to be the biggest challenge Kennedy will have. The positive for us is we're going to be in position to throw more line up combinations out there than anyone else, but at the same time, the challenge is going to be figuring out which line up combinations and which substitution patterns work. Most of the guys we have coming back can play at least 2 or 3 spots on the floor. The trick is going to be figuring out where everyone fits best and which groups work best.

I know you're joking, but I doubt we'd ever go 4 guard next year, though the guys that are likely to get minutes at the 4 (Henry, Holloway, and Buckner) are all guys that handle the ball well enough to play the 3.

We'll play a 4-guard at times next year, but I don't think there's any way that Holloway doesn't start.

Huertas will be a spot up shooter and first off the bench.
