I rode over to Glenn last night hoping for a good game and expecting Glenn to handle 3A Terry Sanford. It didn't work out that way. Glenn has the skill players and plenty of speed, but they just got bullied up front. Terry Sanford has a couple of impressive backs and their defense brought pressure all night. Glenn had some success with the screen game, but that was about it.
I know it's early, but Reagan struggled with 3A North Davidson, West Forsyth got blown out by 3A AC Reynolds and Davie got rolled up by Mooresville. I don't think the CPC is as strong as some are predicting here. East Forsyth and Tabor may be, but the rest of the conference had a bad first week.
