Nobody ever thinks it’s weird that when HH bats the opposing team moves their shortstop to help at first base and their third baseman to help at 2nd base because they move their second and first baseman to the outfield and he hits into the shift EVERY single time.

Tx 6-4 LF running down that Chance fly down the LF line was huge. We hit some balls well to LCF today and that dude ran them down. We let flares fall.
Then their guy comes in clutch with a bomb. State gets way in front of a hanging curve and hits it foul for strike 2. ... and you knew he was swinging at anything on that 3rd pitch.
State has to recruit better in all sports. I'm not sure they can with a truck load of cash.

We have been in position to win every damn game this weekend. We pulled in the wrong reliever on Friday, and our bats absolutely shìt the bed when we needed them today. The qùeers had 3 lucky hits, that’s it.

I’m almost to the point of being ok dropping every series if it finally gets Lemon away from our program.. problem is I don’t trust Salmon to hire a good replacement. Just a impossible and infuriating situation to be in with our baseball program. We have just about built the stadium for nothing.. besides hosting and feeding other teams. Just sad

We’re not a bad team. But we’re not a top half SEC team. In position to win and winning are 2 very different things. 0-3 at home with 2 tough road series coming up is not a good place to be.
