I’m thinking X in this one. More tournament seasoned coach (even though he underachieved quite a bit). Texas is a one trick pony or maybe 1 1/2. Believe they’ll find a way to overcome that.

Me too. Texas is inconsistent and sometimes doesn’t seem interested. Can’t believe we lost to them.
I really, REALLY want to play Texas again (assuming we beat Troy, not taking anything for granted here).
IF we beat Troy, I really want another shot at Texas.
Xavier doesn't scare me a TON, they have only beaten one ranked team all year, BUT they have won 7 of their last 8 and I imagine that has them feeling and playing very confident.
Don't really want to play Illinois, just think the other 2 would be less volatile matchups for us.

How anyone can predict who will be good or bad for us is challenging. We have beaten some great teams and lost to some bad ones. We lost to Arkansas at home! So, every game for this team is an unknown no matter who we face.
I could see Tre Johnson pulling a Kemba and getting them to the Elite 8. Dude is a baller and has been on fire the past month.
Agree, Xavier is a scary team to play, they have been very inconsistent but they have a very talented team very good guards and a damn good post player, give me Texas

Illinois had the number 7 SOS and ended up 21-12. I don't think we see Texas or Xavier if we beat Troy.
