Comes to the SEC as a newbie and we have to go there and play them in FB and Basketball. Do the planes only fly one way. The SEC looks to screw UK almost always. The covid year in FB they screwed us big time!!

Sankey has UT kneepads on and it's not anti UK as much as it's pro UT. Their FB schedule compared to Oklahoma upon entering the league was laughable. Now that will change this year as their trip to the Swamp isn't going to be as easy as they envisioned and going to Athens......UGA will beat them again. Sark and big games aren't quite Franklin-esque but he's close at 4-17 vs the top 10.

The best thing to happen for the SEC was those arrogant pricks not winning the SEC Football Title in their first year. They already want the title game moved to Jerry Jones Stadium in DFW, and they always want to tell everyone how things should go despite having an unimpressive trophy case in FB/Basketball compared to their ego/talk.

Not too worried about it. We might take a loss at their place, but if so it will be due to injuries combined with foul trouble and crowd/superbowl, not because we got screwed and had to travel.
I just don’t get them not coming here in FB or BB. I haven’t seen any fire schedule of them coming here.

I'm optimistic that we will play a good game and win. But without butler/Robinson it'll be really hard to pull this off. I'm really curious who will take that lead guard position?

Imo we will need Carr and Almanor both to have strong games!

What are the chances that Pope plays 3 bigs at the same time? Will he play Almanor at the 3 some? Who plays point? Options are really limited.

Brea,oweh,Noah,Almanor,Williams?

Perry,Brea,oweh,Almanor,Williams?

Subs---Chandler Carr garrison

Crazy thing about their basketball team is they should be way better than what they are. Tre Johnson is a star, Kaluma/pope/mark are all good offensive players. Texas messed up by hiring the terry guy. Because if beard was still at Texas they would be a top 10-15 team right now

From an SWC guy… get used to ut demands. Hoping they’ve met their matches in SEC and nobody caves to them.
They won’t have unilateral control like they used to. They may have gotten some favors getting in but the SEC schools care just as much about football and won’t bow down to any school.

Yeah they should be, plus Texas is a hotbed of talent. We need to lock Johnson down and make someone else beat us. We should absolutely win that game, but with injuries who knows which UK team shows up. Hope the Kentucky boys pour it on again.

The think about Johnson is he hits tough shots, he can be completely guarded and hit shots

So you would almost be better to let him get his but shut a few others down??
Honestly idk because Texas isn’t very good but they have so many me first guys. Pope/mark/kaluma/johnson are all guys who will take bad shots but can go nuclear at times as well

Actually this really isn't "screwing UK".

You want to face the tougher teams at home and the weaker ones on the road. Texas is one of the weaker ones in the SEC.

Now it's going to be a tough game to win because we are a bit banged up, but yeah I don't mind this one being on the road.

You would think Texas would have to travel up here in either FB or BB.
