That, and the fact that we were playing at home.engie said:Basically, their zone took our inside game away, and their man coverage took our outside game away. They are an incredible defensive team. We played excellent D today as well...the best I've seen us play all year.

If it's asbad as you say it is, why has anyone ever played man against us in the last 10 years?DesotoCountyDawg said:The zone offense today was atrocious. And don't be surprised if more teams don't start doing it more against us.

We had some guys that could shoot it the last few years- so our inability to break down a zone was masked somewhat because we could make a few three's from 25 feet out...but when you dont have that bailout, and actually have to work to break it down and get it inside, it really shows. Today we got the bailout- a couple of 25 foot 3-balls when we were trailing and had no answer for the zone. Thats no special design and you know it- you can get a 25 foot shot at the basket nearly anytime you want.patdog said:If it's asbad as you say it is, why has anyone ever played man against us in the last 10 years?DesotoCountyDawg said:The zone offense today was atrocious.
