I know it was tough, but thank for helping me believe that there are still some morals in this world and things more important a than football. You did the right thing!

I seriously doubt Arkansas did this from a moral high ground. This would be a CYA move because Petrino porking a subordinate puts the University in a very tough situation. Many folks are going to claim this was an overreaction by the University, but if you really step back and look at it, they have no choice. You have to cut ties with the cut that brings his shady personal life into the workplace...

That Long had the cajones to fire Patrino. Said before ... most of the state pulls for the Hogs and firing a winner no matter 'what' the crime will not go over well in the State.

Believe it when I see Bobby P pack and leave town.

Collateral damage. They've figured out there are twelve reasons to fire the coach. Jerry and Barry don't like to be funned. Restoring honor? they never had honor, they've always run a imperialistic University, bullying politically and keeping down the smaller, sister institutions in -State. They had to, to survive the SWC so well, I always hated that the SEC accepted them.

...I guess you are talking about Arkansas athletic director Jeff Long placing Petrino on paid leave pending a review.

Here's the money quote:

“I don’t know what I’m going to find,” Long said at a news conference Thursday night..."

What you are going to find is Mr. Petrino was a very, very bad father figure to the kids.
